Let me share with you an idea: This year we want to share our vision with people in homes as well as in churches.  A typical home meeting will take place in the evening and will involve  between 8 and 20 missions-interested people.  It will be a fun social gathering lasting 90 minutes during which I will  talk for only about 25 minutes. Although  we will make our needs known and there will be material available for those  interested, there will be no pressure on anyone to sign up for anything or to  give. We are simply sharing our vision  and making new friends.

I need your help. In order for home groups to be a success, we  need people around the country willing to open their homes for an evening. Someone who hosts one of our meetings has  three main responsibilities: The first  is simply to provide a place for the meeting. The second is to invite your missions-interested friends to  attend. This will be an encouraging evening for those interested in missions with no pressure to sign up.   I will provide you with some materials  instructions to make the inviting part easy. The third responsibility is to provide some light refreshments  for your guests. That’s it. I will do the rest.
