In order to have a clear picture of the work done by Bob and Eileen Edmondson with Global Training Network, it is important to understand the need we are trying to meet.   We are dedicated to training pastors and church planters around the world.

The need is great!  People are putting their faith in Jesus Christ in record numbers around the world today.  In India twenty thousand souls per day are becoming Christians.  In the continent of Africa some ten thousand per day are turning to Christ.  In China, more than thirty thousand per day are becoming believers.   Experts believe that over the next six years there could be as many as a billion new believers in the world. Who will lead them?  In the developing world, 90% of pastors have little or no formal theological training.  In the U.S. there is one trained pastor for every 250 people.  In most of the rest of the world, there is one trained pastor for every 450,000 people.
