As I move into a busy season of ministry, I have been upgrading my skills.  Recently I completed the second of three courses developed by the Timothy Leadership Training Institute.  These are inductive leadership development courses designed to be taught in a cross-cultural setting.  Along with the curricula, we learned and practiced a methodology which not only enables effective communication of essential biblical truths, but provides participants with the means to effectively reproduce the same training in their churches and in other leaders.  This is simple, yet very challenging to those of us schooled in an educational model based on lecture.  I plan to continue on this trajectory by taking the third phase of this training.  I will then be certified as a Timothy Leadership Institute Master Trainer.
